When my girls were little, I made them dresses, and dolls, and dresses for their dolls...
Now I just sew on my cards. However, this card is ABOUT sewing and I didn't sew a stitch on it.
The stamps, papers, and sentiment are from Digital Delights. Sew many things you can do with digital stuff!
I used Crafty Mouse Coordinating Set, making use of everything but the mouse.
I also used the Get Better Digital Paper Pack.
Which coordinates perfectly with the Feel Better digital embellishments:
I used Word to layer the embellishments right on the roses paper, combining them into one image. I did the same with the thread and button frame.
It was fun.
I colored my framed image and layered it onto the patterned paper which I had printed out.
Then I ran it through my Vagabond, using a Darice embossing folder. This helps my paper look quilted...and gives it dimension.
I cut out the sentiment and used some silver Gelly Roll Pen on the letters. I sponged the edges to give it a distressed look. I layered it with buttons, then added silver ribbon to the card,
and a pink bow.
At the very top of the card, I used two pieces of zipper trim by CTMH, to make a whole zipper. This is attached with fabric glue.
Be sure to check out the other Design Team members' cards on the Digital Delights Blog.

Cute, cute, CUTE!!!! That's absolutely fabulous the way you've created a card around sewing and not one stitch on there, but it looks like there is. I love your choice of colors and the depth you've created with the embossing you've chosen to use. This is a wonderful card filled with talent and love. That zipper is Amazing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for playing along with us at Top Tip Tuesday and sharing your talents with us!
