The Joy of Sets Guest Designer Project

I am honored to be the Guest Designer for August's  The Joy of Sets Challenge!

This month's Tic Tac Toe challenge is as follows:

I chose the far left column: Splash, Yellow and Emboss.

The splash part was the most difficult for me to interpret. I finally decided to grab some acrylic paint, mix it with a little water and make a splash! 

While it was air drying, I printed the turtle from my Nature of the Beach Digital Stamp Set. You can find it in my Etsy shop. The images come pre-colored or color them yourself. Pre-colored digitals are handy for quick and easy cardmaking, journaling, scrapbooking, you name it.

The turtle was fussy cut, and embossed with clear EP. The sentiment is also from the set. I used my good old CTMH cloud stencil to create the waves with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. The yellow ink on all the edges is Mustard Seed Distress Ink. 

I created the background paper with my three leaves digi stamp, which is a freebie on The Artsystamper Addiction Facebook Page. Join the group to enjoy the freebies in the file there. 

The final touch, after layering the design onto yellow cardstock, was Nuvo Drops in Blizzard.
