Welcome to Artsystamper!

My Artsystamper Addicts have been creating some ultra cool things with my images!

This one is so outside the box for this set. Zowie took my Waterlily digitals and made them vintage!

Enjoy your creative journey!

The stamp set Zowie used is the Digital Koi Pond Stamp Set. It is a super sized set, which comes in color and black and white. This set is available in my Etsy shop, TheArtsystamperShop.

Spring Blossoms by Jessica Kaiser

Welcome to Artsystamper.com!

Today I am sharing a darling card created by one of the amazing designers on my Artsystamper Addicts Design Team...Jessica Kaiser.

Jess and I worked for Sparkle N Sprinkle together. I am thrilled to have her on my team, and glad to call her friend.

I love how she added the little gold accents. I just sets off these hand colored blossoms.

Now a bit about this stamp set...I originally colored these with  Prismacolor Premier Pencils. These are the same stamps from my last post. Look back to read the little story about my flight.

You can find this set in my Etsy shop, TheArtsystamperShop. It contains both color and black and white images, and a sentiment as well.

Be sure to visit Jessica's Blog to find out more about her beautiful card.

Enjoy your creative journey!

Koi Pond Card by Kimberly Wiener

Kimberly took this Koi Pond Set and turned it into a very subtle, beautiful card. She set a mood that I have not been able to create myself. I just love the background, and the way the are swimming in all different directions.

Visit Kimberly's blog to see more about this card.

This set is a super bundle. Lots of choices, colors, and images.

The sentiment is from the Mermaid Wishes Set.

Now through July 8, 2019 my whole shop is on sale at 20% off with a $10 order. Time to stock up!

Enjoy your creative journey,

For All Those Survivors Out There

When I first created this arrangement of images, I thought, "Gee, looks like someone is laughing at the desert." Yes. A survivor can laugh at the hardships they have gone through. It may take years, but it is definitely something to look back at, only to say,

"I made it!"
So for all our surviving friends, I want to say, you are an amazing person. You are strong, resilient and poweful...you are a Survivor!

I used my Marble Magic Paper Pack to create the background layer. It's a JPG.

I then layered the cactus, hat and skull from the Southwest Garden stamp set. They are all png's so they can be resized and layered, since they have no background. The set comes with color and black and white images, so by using the color ones, my card comes together quickly.

Here is the tutorial...enjoy!

Be sure to visit my shop, TheArtsystamperShop on Etsy. Right now everything is 20% off with an order of only $10. Happy 4th!

(sale ends July 8, 2019)

Clean and Simple Beverly's Rose

The first card by my fabulous Artsystamper Addicts Design Team!

My dear stamping friend, Darlene Pavlick created this CAS card to greet us. How eye-catching!

This set was created after I visited The Ringling in Sarasota, Florida. As I wandered around, all on my own, I entered Mable Ringling's Rose Garden. The blossoms were breath-taking.

I snapped several shots, returned home, and attended our community Art Club. Zentangle was all the rage, but I preferred taking a few curls and textures to simplify the effect, calling it, ZIA...Zentangle Inspired Art.

My style was born!

I call this set, Beverly's Rose. The sentiments are a gift from Donna Ellis.

You can find the set, which includes both color and black and white options, in my shop. It's digital...and remember,

Digis Are Forever!

Please visit Darlene's Blog to find out more about her lovely card.

Enjoy the journey,

Bartlett Pear Set

Bartlett Pear Set

I just added this set to my shop, TheArtsystamperShop. I loved coloring these pears. There's just something about a pear. They are so beautifully shaped...a gift of nature.

I originally colored them with alcohol markers and colored pencil. The sentiments are courtesy of Donna Ellis and Sparkle N Sprinkle. I had the pleasure of designing stamps for them, and also worked at some Expo's all over the country. Margaret Myers in a peach of a woman. I am sorry to see the business close, but for Margaret, it's a chance for her to spend more time with family.

Go Margaret!

Well, that's if for today. I have some drawing and coloring to do for a new set.

Enjoy the digital journey,

The Earth Laughs in Flowers

Hi! Welcome to my Studio. I have designed a new stamp set called, Field Flower Silhouettes.

Years ago we lived in Upstate New York, north of Lake George. I took some pictures of the wild flowers in Chestertown, and now they are the essence of this set.

I love vintage. This card is the subject of the following video, along with another card which will follow this blogpost.

Here's the tutorial video...enjoy!

Beverly's Rose in Blue

Roses are red
This one is BLUE!

This rose is a digital stamp, in a set I call, "Beverly's Rose". The set comes with black and white images, along with the original orange rose (some with backgrounds), rosebuds, green leaves and even a stem. It's available in my Etsy Shop called, TheArtsystamperShop.

Here is an example of the images combined into a tiny bud bouquet.
The combining is super simple. Just use the PNG images in the stamp set in a word processor like Word, or Open Office (free download). Of course you can also use Photoshop or Gimp (free download).

Watch the rose be colored in this video and stay until the end to see both of these stamps!

Enjoy the Journey,

Stiffen It to Make it Behave!

I have been stiffening stuff...like cheesecloth and burlap...vintage music sheet and book pages.

Then I have been inking and stamping them.

Then I have been die cutting them...along with aluminum cans.

All to make these awesome clip-on flowers!

I clip them onto my plant hangers, and my granddaughters love to wear them in their hair (not to mention my senior friends!)

So here is the video on how to do it all...enjoy!

I am entering this project in the following challenges:

I love alcohol markers for dimension and texture!

Coloring is one of my passions.

I have enjoyed it since I was a little girl.
I made clothes for my paper dolls and enjoyed designing and coloring them.

Now, after several years of designing stamps for 3 companies, I have started a YouTube channel, where I am sharing what I love to do.

And it is a mixed bag, my friends...drawing, coloring, painting.

Collage, Mixed Media, Pastel...so much to share and pass on to you.

Here is my newest video, where I show you how to use alcohol markers to add texture and dimension.

Thanks for stopping by...enjoy the journey,

Using Magazines in Collage

Magazines seem to be something that eventually get thrown out or (if we are lucky) get passed on. As an avid yard-saler, I find magazines for practically nothing. I love paper, so magazines that are downloads, or paper free don't interest me much.

There's just something about holding that page-filled periodical that feels special...like you are taking a tiny vacation...a little time for yourself.

Then there is the tearing or cutting!

Talk about therapy! I can tear, make a mess, then organize my colorful pages while I keep my husband company in front of the T.V.

I can use the colors, textures, words and images in collage, mixed media and cards. It's a seemingly endless source of supplies as well as

INSPIRATION.

I love collage. It's fun, relaxing and fulfilling.

See how magazines fit into this amazing art form.
