Love is for the Birds

Hello Everyone!

Beverly here to share one of my newest designs. These are my Lovebirds. I am using the red and pink image as they are in a heart shape for a reason! LOL

The set comes with two color images, so you can make quick Valentines and other cards when you need them in a pinch.

If you are anything like me, although there are lots of cards in my stash, I very often don't have the card I need for the occasion. That's when Artsystamper Digitals are really handy.

If you have never used digital stamps, here is a video I have made to help you:

Quick Card for St. Patty's Day or any Day!

This card is totally DIGITAL, which makes it a super easy card to create!
I used my brand new digi kit to create this. I used Open Office which is a free downloadable program, similar to Word.
Free is great!
First, I created the background with the Lucky Oxalis Digital Kit

The set is half off through St. Patrick's Day! (a $6 value, only $3)

I sized it to my liking, 4 x 5 1/4.
Next, I added the Oxalis image, in color.
I sized it to fit the background, and made sure it was layered on top of the background. If it isn't you'll know it!
After I added the image, I used the opacity setting to lighten the background layer, until it was to my liking.

Finally, I added the mat from the same set. I made it the standard card size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Once you layer these, you can resize them to fit perfectly!
I have a video on my YouTube channel which shows how to make a digital card:

Hi! Beverly here.

The theme is
The talented design team has created some creative inspiration projects, so be sure to check them out.

Here is what I have created...
This card is totally DIGITAL, which makes it a super easy card to create!
I used 3 of my digi sets to create this. I used Open Office which is a free downloadable program, similar to Word.
Free is great!
First, I created the background with the Wintry Paper Pack.
I sized it to my liking, 6x6.
Next, I added a frame from the Art Deco Frames Set
I sized it to fit the background, and made sure it was layer on top of the background. If it isn't you'll know it! The frames come as overlays, so it's super easy to layer them.

Finally, I added the  pre-colored image from the Camellias Stamp Set.
Once you layer these, you can resize them to fit perfectly!
I have a video on my YouTube channel which shows how to make a digital card:

And here is a video showing how to color my Camellia, if you would like to use my technique and color your own...

Blooming Magnolia card for Turner Syndrome Blog Hop!

This is my card for the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop!
You can find out all about Turner Syndrome HERE

This card was created using the "My Magnolia" Stamp and Paper Set, available in my Etsy Shop.

I also used the Wintry Paper Pack, for the lavender card piece.

I sized everything to create a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch card, in Open Office. Everything was printed out on 1 sheet of white cardstock. The magnolia was fussy cut, and I inked the edges with some Distress Oxide inks in peeled paint and seedless preserves. I then added Day Dreamin' microfine glitter by Glitters Galore. It was layered using dimensionals.
After creating a band with the sentiment by simply cutting it at 1/2 inch, I layered it onto a piece of black gingham paper from my stash.

The black layer is a piece of mirror paper. I added a couple of thin strips to create the look of three panels. The final touch was tiny Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard.

Crafts Galore Encore DT with Bugaboo

Hi! Beverly here.
It's time for another Anything Goes challenge at Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog!

The Sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Digital Stamps
They are offering a $12 store voucher to the winner of the challenge!

Digi stamps,clipart,beautiful fairy,Bugaboo Stamps,

I was able to choose an image from their online shop, so I chose Beautiful Fairy.
Here is what I have created...
First, I printed the image in a size befitting a standard card. Being able to size the image is something so awesome about digital stamps...no cleaning either!
I shaded it using my favorite shading colors...Prismacolor Premier Pencils in Indigo Blue and Crimson Red. I then colored her using Prismacolor Markers. Her globe is coated with Gypsy Red Microfine Glitter by Glitters Galore.
I fussy cut the image and coated all the edges with black ink to remove any white. She is popped onto a background created by layering a background paper from my Aster Garden Paper Pack with some torn green vellum from my stash. The sentiment is by Tonic, and has been retired.
I used Nuvo Drops to make faux brads in the corners. Finally I layered in onto some CTMH card stock that I have had for literally over a decade.

Gecko Galz DT 3 from 1 printing

I made 3 projects for Gecko Galz' DT from one printed sheet.
I am so honored to be on the Design Team.

Here is the tutorial for these.

This tag is my inspiration piece for the February Customer Challenge:

Age of Aquarius

I used a blank background from the Tea at the Ritz set on the back of the tag. A message could be added here in gold or white pen. Wouldn't that be beautiful?
A button was added to the tag insignia piece of the tag. Perfect fit!
This card is an inspiration piece made with several sets from Gecko Galz. They are all listed in the video.
I just love these little birds!
Finally, this card used several sets as well. So many options at Gecko Galz!
I added ribbon to the cards, melting it to create curly vintage accents. It's all on the video.

I am entering this in the following Challenges
