ACT Tag "Believe"

ATC? Tag? Yep. Turns out our Art Club is doing an ATC (Artist's Trading Card) swap at our annual Christmas party. This tag just fits the bill!

So glad to be on the Gecko Galz team again. I just love working with Leanne's images.

Today's tag if part of the "24 Tags of Christmas" event. Be sure to check out all the tags create by our team. There will be a new one every day until Christmas!

This tag was created from a tag I recued from the trash. It's a FootJoy tag, and if you know anything about golf, you know the brand. My husband moved us to Florida to play golf all year.
He plays golf. I play in my studio.

I removed the sting from the tag, and covered both sides with the papers. I sanded the edges and inked them I atteached some distressed reinforcements that I stamped and inked awhile ago.

The tiny images were cut out, inked and attached. I used a piece of tea dyed cheesecloth, as well as a few silver beads from an old necklace to adorn the tag. I inked the edges of the whole tag and finally added a piece of tea dyed and crinkled seam binding.

I used images from several sets by Gecko Galz on Etsy:

I hope you give these tags a try. They will be keepers when your friends receive them attached to a gift...it's like an extra keepsake. I know I will have a hard time parting with this one!

Just Believe!

Seaside Holiday Tag

Hi and welcome to my studio!
This is my inspiration piece for the Artsystamper Digitals Challenge Blog...challenge #6, packaging or tags.
I used the Seaside Wreath set, along with a sentiment from Seaside Holiday...a set that I am giving away for FREE with the purchase of any Christmas set or Seaside Wreath.
The tiny shells and driftwood are from Fort Myers Beach. I love collecting tiny things. Actually anything tiny that is usually big is cute to me. Don't you think so?
I also added a piece of  tea stained cheesecloth for texture. The starfish on the wreath are coated with gold glitter. I distressed the edges of both pieces of the tag, and inked them with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. For the hole in the tag, I used a distressed and stamped hole reinforcement. I did a whole sheet of them at one time, to have them handy...and they were!

Dreamy Christmas Tag

A Dreamy Tag for Christmas...who wouldn't love to have this attached to a feminine gift? At the craft sale every year where I live, people love to pick up Hostess gifts for the holidays. The prissier the better in most cases. I believe I will need to make some of these types for next year's sale.

This is one of the "24 Tags of Christmas" for Gecko Galz. I love being on the DT for this company!

I started out with a paper from the Scripted ATC Collection which I layered with an image from A Little Sketchy in Gimp. (You can see the face in the bottom corner near the bow.) I then layered that on a tag made from a paper from the Shabby Chic ATC Collection. The corners of the tag were punched with a fancy corner punch from my stash. I cut out the digital images, one from the Been Framed Craft Kit, and one from the Once Upon a Dream Collage Set.

I used some Rose Gold Glitter by Glitters Galore around the edges of the images and the sentiment, which is from the Charming Words Collage Set. After adding a copper eyelet and ribbon, I also added
an organdy ribbon bow, melted (one of my favorite techniques with ribbon), some paper flowers from my stash, inked, and some tea dyed lace and sequin trim. (I love picking up things like this trim at yard sales...50 cents!)

Spread Your Wings

 Hello! Welcome to my Studio!
I'm Beverly Cole

This upcycled box is for Gecko Galz , "In Dreams" Challenge, December 2019. I have the privilege of being on the 2020 design team!
I have used a Birchbox box and five corks to create it. I created a collage of images and sentiments from GeckoGalz, and some of the papers from TheArtsystamperShop. You can find both shops on Etsy.
You can see the papers inside the box. They are from the Marble Magic paper pack.
I cut the bottoms off the corks, using four for the legs and one for the knob.

The embellishment on the box is made with two butterflies from the Butterfly Dreams Mini Paper Pack. I coated them with Glossy Accents and let them dry. Then I froze them to crack them. They are sitting on a piece of tea dyed cheesecloth.

The other Gecko Galz digitals I used were:

Dream Land Digital Collage
Charming Words collage set
Dreams of Spring collage set

Be sure to join the fun by joining the challenges Gecko Galz offers in the Facebook Group Each one offers a different collage sheet as a prize.
Here they are!
There is also a challenge on the blog! This month's challenge is "In Dreams"

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Warm Weather Christmas

Hi I'm Beverly Cole aka Artsystamper...Hello and welcome to my studio!
The first Monday of December brings another Artsystamper Digitals Challenge . The theme this time is
Winter Holidays
Whatever you celebrate in Winter! I live in Florida. It's warm here at Christmas. Thus the dock and boat! I'm sure this is also the case in Australia, although I believe it's Summer there! It's still Christmas however...
As always, the winner of our challenge will receive the stamp set of their choice from TheArtsystamperShop. My  selections offer stamps and sentiments, as well as pre-colored images and papers for easy, last minute cards. Why not take a moment and check out what I have in store for you?
For this challenge, we are collaborating with the Double Trouble Challenge Blog! To gain more opportunities to win, you can enter their challenge! Just follow their theme for Thing 1, and Thing 3, and our challenge theme (Thing 2) will give you an extra chance in their draw! i.e. A birthday card with patterned paper and a bow The above card is my inspiration piece for the challenge. I used four of my digital sets to create this card...

Seaside Holiday (a freebie thru Dec. 24 2019 with the purchase of any Christmas Set or Seaside Wreath Stamp and Paper Pack)

Wintry Paper Pack (which goes great with Snow Birds Set.)

I printed all the elements of my card out on white cardstock. It's easy to size the papers to your card before printing, so you don't have any leftover paper. I do print them out a bit bigger than I think I will need, to give myself a little wiggle room. For the background I used the Distress Blue Sky paper from the Wintry Papers and the River Meadow paper from the Marble Magic papers. They were just perfect to set the scene. I fussy cut the boat and dock image, trimming off a slice of the dock so it would fit the papers underneath. I used some dimensionals to pop the image. The sentiment, which is from the Seaside Wreath stamp and paper set, was trimmed to a perfect square, and was mounted onto a square cardstock die cut created with the Fairmont Decorative Accent Nestabilities Set by Spellbinders. The sentiment is also popped up with dimensionals. I used some Crystal Ice Semi-transparent Glitter by Glitter Galore on the frame, lights and boat. The final touch was a baker's twine bow. All is layered on a white card base, to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in card.
I hope you will hop on over to Artsystamper Digitals Challenge Blog and enter! You will also see more inspiring designs from the Artsystamper Addicts Design Team...so much talent!
I am entering my project in the following challenges:
