White Christmas Gecko Galz DT

 Hi Everyone! I am ready to celebrate the holidays! I know, I know, Thanksgiving first (I'm in the USA), but I need to feel warm and fuzzy. 

This card is one of my Design Team projects for Gecko Galz. I created the layers digitally, which is so much fun! Sure beats stamping with ink!

It's time for a New Gecko Galz Customer Challenge!!   

This month our Challenge theme is 

WHITE CHRISTMAS

It will run from November

 1st to the 29th.

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE product from Gecko Galz!!  

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!! It is up to you!!

The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree 

Here is my project...

I started with the cutest image from The Frosty Garden Collage Sheet.

 I layered it over a background found in Christmas Past ATC Collection.

I digitally erased parts of each layer, over a light blue background I added. After printing out the card, I inked the edges with red ink.

This tag is one of my Design Team projects for Gecko Galz. I love the image so  much, that I didn't do much to it. It's nearly perfect all by itself!

It's time for a New Gecko Galz Customer Challenge!!   

This month our Challenge theme is

Here is my project...

I began with the Holiday Tag Kit. I added the snowy scene digitally from the Happy Holidays Collage Sheet. After layering it, I erased some of the edge in Gimp. 

 

The final steps were to make it into a tag I could use. I printed it in Open Office, cut it out, punched the hole, and added a distressed and stamper gummed reinforcement. I distress them by the sheet. Some glitter drops around the edge as well as dots on the image finished the actual tag. I then added some gorgeous red velvet ribbon from my stash.

Joy of Sets November!

 

Hello! It's time for another Joy of Sets Challenge!

Here is a video creating this card in my RV! 

I decided on Vellum, Baker's Twine and Thanks.

My card is created with a very popular set called, Autumn's Gifts. 

I also used the coordinating paper pack entitled, Autumn's Gifts Paper Pack

Digitals are So Great because you can print what you need at the size you  need.

I printed the leaf outlines on vellum, then colored them on both sides with alcohol markers. I use several brands, and my favorites are Prismacolor and Nuvo. Neither are refillable, but they are so inky and the Nuvo markers are a wonderful value.

As you can see, the colors are so vivid when done this way. Plus, the translucency is amazing!

The background includes strips of the patterned paper, which really show off the gorgeous leaves.

 

Once again, this challenge opened me up to new adventures in creativity!

Crafts Galore Encore DT Project for November 2020

 Hello!

It's time for another challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore. This time our wonderful sponsor is

My card it totally digital. I can make it any size I want just by saving it and then putting in a program like Open Office, which is a free download that I use instead of Word. You can naturally use Word, Photoshop, whatever program you use with your digitals.
